Meet the Founder
Welcome to Legacy! My husband, Tom, and I have been hosting all sorts of events in the Byron Barn since 2014. With a background directing theater, a merge into weddings and special gatherings was very natural to me. There are so many moving parts on a wedding day, and I thoroughly enjoy bringing all those people together under one roof to create memories for a bride and groom with their family and friends! I look forward to meeting you at the barn!
My husband and I only had 3 months to plan our wedding but thanks to Byron (especially Corinne), the wedding reception looked and felt like we had been planning for 2 years. Truly every detail of the (already enchanting) property was considered and delightfully curated, Corinne is reassuringly responsive, proactive, and winsome, and I wouldn't change a thing...except maybe I wish we spent even more time at our reception there!
Greetings! The Byron Barn is full of love and history and a lovely place to hold your special events that will become part of your own family legacy.
Our packages are very simple with only slight variations as we are mainly a venue vendor. We like to keep things simple and beautiful so that your special day is worry-free. Below I will detail basic site fees, plus a few options you may wish to include in your package. The contract lists details and a few more services we offer. We do require proof of Renter/Vendor insurance.
Standard Site Fee for 12 hours in the Byron Barn - $3,500.00
With the standard fee, the renter will be responsible for basic clean-up such as garbage removal to outside bins and general floor sweep. Use of the sound system, and the Manger (Wardrobe touch up/changing room) is included in this price. Noise restrictions apply after 10:00. Clean up and lights-out should be done by 12:00 AM. Extra time can be arranged for set up for a modest fee. Full details are listed in the contract.
Event Day Coordinator- $250-450.00 (3 options)
We offer 3 packages of Day-Of coordination services. Each provides timeline planning and coordinating with your vendors to ensure the day runs smoothly.
Post Event Clean up – $100-200.00
If you prefer not to worry about cleaning up, taking decorations down, or removing the trash at the end of your event, we can help.
Ambiance Lights - $ 50.00 Flat Rate
To change the twinkle lights to Edison lights in the Great Room, or to arrange lights another way.
Fire Pit - $ 8.00 per bundle Flat Rate
With tree stump seating around the pit, guests can use cured wood from the pile to enjoy a cozy time with friends. Noise restrictions apply after 10:00.
