Hidden in plain sight, the Byron Barn is a unique special events venue in Plainsboro, New Jersey that boasts rustic charm and eclectic interest, ready for couples to make it their own on their wedding day. The barn is one of the town's oldest structures and includes both indoor and outdoor spaces to enjoy your special event.
My husband and I only had 3 months to plan our wedding but thanks to Byron (especially Corinne), the wedding reception looked and felt like we had been planning for 2 years. Truly every detail of the (already enchanting) property was considered and delightfully curated, Corinne is reassuringly responsive, proactive, and winsome, and I wouldn't change a thing...except maybe I wish we spent even more time at our reception there!

Greetings! The Byron Barn is full of love and history and a lovely place to hold your special events that will become part of your own family legacy.
Our packages are very simple with only slight variations as we are mainly a venue vendor. We like to keep things simple and beautiful so that your special day is worry-free. Below I will detail basic site fees, plus a few options you may wish to include in your package. The contract lists details and a few more services we offer. We do require proof of Renter/Vendor insurance.
Standard Package - $5,000.00
Includes: 12 hours at the Byron barn and grounds
Use of mismatched tables and chairs
Use of the sound system and microphones
Refreshments in the Withdrawing Rooms during dressing time
Seasonal garden flowers and cuttings in the barn
Basic coordination services
Includes: Coordinating with your vendors for drop-offs and pick-ups, limited pre-event access to the barn to aid in your planning (times agreed upon by lessee/vendor, and Corinne), my limited presence during set up and dressing time on the day of the event plus one hour of hosting/coordination at the beginning of your event.
Full Package Site Fee - $6,000.00
Includes all of the above, plus: All of the above, plus generous pre-event access to the barn, Day-Of timeline assistance, and my host/coordination services for the entirety of your event. I will welcome guests, troubleshoot situations, oversee bridal party line up and entrance for ceremony and reception, communicate and manage adjustments and changes with your vendors on the day of the event, magically produce unplanned-for-shot glasses, be a welcoming and calming force until the last guest leaves.
Self Tended - $ 40.00 per hour
The fire pit will be prepared for you with kindling and a first teepee of cured wood. Bundles will be put aside depending on how long you wish to use the Fire Pit.
FireMaster - $100.00 per hour
Engage our Fire Pit Master, Tom, to prepare, start, and tend the fire for you and your guests!

Welcome to Legacy! My husband, Tom, and I have been hosting all sorts of events in the Byron Barn since 2014. With a background directing theater, a merge into weddings and special gatherings was very natural to me. There are so many moving parts on a wedding day, and I thoroughly enjoy bringing all those people together under one roof to create memories for a bride and groom with their family and friends! I look forward to meeting you at the barn!
Meet Darilynn! In 2015 she established Wilhelmina's in Allentown, NJ specializing in handcrafted creations. She is a board member and President of the Allentown Business Community Association organizing their town events. In May 2021, she and her husband, Jesse, were married here at the Barn. Shortly after she joined the team, helping plan our events!
